Description
Fireline-Ready. DHS-Informed. Built for Real Wildland Work.
When you’re deep in wildland operations, your gear can’t be optional—it has to perform. The Workrite FP62 Wildland Dual-Compliant Tactical Pant was purpose-built using recommendations from the Department of Homeland Security Wildland Firefighter PPE Clothing System Program, and it shows in every detail.
These are durable firefighting pants made from 7.5 oz. Nomex® and Kevlar® flame-resistant twill, delivering uncompromising protection while staying breathable enough for long days on the line. They’re UL certified to NFPA® 1975 and NFPA® 1977, giving you true dual-compliant performance for both emergency services work apparel and wildland firefighting operations.
Mobility is dialed in. The articulated knees and fuller leg fit give you freedom to hike, climb, and work low without restriction. A contoured waistband keeps the fit comfortable during long shifts, while adjustable ankle straps let you secure the pant legs tight around your boots—keeping out debris and preventing ride-up when terrain gets rough.
Durability shows up where it matters most. Triple-needle felled side and seat seams hold up under repeated stress, and the metal shank button closure won’t quit mid-season. Storage is clean, secure, and tactical:
-
Two slack-style front pockets with utility notches
-
Two ergonomic cargo pockets with hook-and-loop closures
-
Two rear welt pockets with secure closures
Everything stays put, even when you’re moving fast or carrying tools.
They sit just below the waist, with extra room through the seat and thighs and a fuller leg—designed specifically for wildland firefighters who need mobility without sacrificing protection. And when the shift’s over, they’re home washable, keeping maintenance simple.
If you want firefighter gear built to DHS recommendations, tested to NFPA standards, and proven on the fireline, the FP62 is the real deal.
Upgrade your wildland kit with pants built for the toughest terrain—gear up with the Workrite FP62 and hit the line ready.
