Lightweight. Tactical. Built to Move When the Heat’s On.

Some days demand more than standard station wear. When mobility, storage, and flame resistance all matter, the Workrite FR Tactical Ripstop Pant (FP40) delivers. This is firefighter gear designed for high-tempo days—training, response, special assignments—where flexibility and function can’t be optional.

Made from 6.1 oz. flame-resistant ripstop fabric, these pants strike the right balance between lightweight comfort and job-ready durability. They’re UL certified to NFPA 1975 and NFPA 2112 compliant, giving you trusted FR protection whether you’re in emergency services operations or working environments with flash-fire risk.

The articulated knees are a game changer—kneeling, climbing, moving fast, or working low feels natural, not restricted. Add the side-elastic waistband and extra-wide belt loops, and you get a secure, comfortable fit that stays locked in even with a loaded duty belt.

Storage is where these pants really earn the “tactical” name. You’ve got:

• Front slack-style pockets with utility notch for fast access

• Two large cargo pockets with hook-and-loop closures

• Additional storage pocket on the right cargo

• Rear welt pockets that stay closed when you’re moving

Everything has a place. Nothing flaps, shifts, or slows you down.

The fit is firefighter-friendly too—sits just below the waist, with extra room through the seat and thighs and a fuller leg for mobility. And since they’re home washable, maintenance stays simple after long days on the job.

If you’re looking for protective workwear that feels lighter, moves better, and still meets serious FR standards, the FP40 is an easy upgrade.
