Your everyday duty jacket. Built for the job. Ready for the weather.

The 5.11 Duty Softshell Jacket is your go-to layer when the forecast says “who knows” and the shift says “gear up.” Designed for public safety pros who need rugged performance and clean styling, this jacket delivers warmth, durability, and all-weather protection without slowing you down.

Crafted from tough, BBP-resistant polyester, the outer shell shields you from bloodborne pathogens and wet conditions. On the sides, breathable stretch panels regulate your body heat so you don’t overheat when calls stack up. A full front zipper, drop tail hem with an internal shock cord, and stretch cuffs keep the fit secure whether you’re behind the wheel or on scene.

The left chest zip pocket is perfect for quick access to your phone or notepad, and zippered hand pockets keep gloves or essentials close. Need it to pull double-duty under a parka? It’s lightweight and low profile—perfect for layering.
